Nzenalu “Nze” Obinelo is a Senior Executive, dedicated community leader, and storyteller who has spent over three decades providing strategic leadership and building vital community connections.
For over two decades, Nze served as the Executive Vice President at Gateways Community Services in Nashua, New Hampshire, where she directed essential programs for children, adults, and seniors who experienced developmental disabilities, acquired brain disorders, and autism, as well as older adults and veterans in need of supports.
Her extensive background in the Health and Human Services industry also included serving as the CEO of Vista Autism Services in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
As a "bridge builder" at heart, Nze navigates the rich intersection of cultures to link individuals and ideas. Raised in the Nigerian Diaspora in Canada by parents who immigrated in the 1960s, her perspective is rooted in the "magnificent journey" of the diaspora experience. She understands firsthand the unique challenges and soaring successes of building a life across borders—a journey that eventually led her to Nashua, where she and her husband raised their three now-adult children.
Nze’s dedication to service extends into her personal life; she has been a staple on numerous community boards for over 30 years. As the creator and host of the acclaimed podcast The Diaspora Door, she has built a reputation for providing a space where individuals can reclaim their narratives and share their authentic journeys.
Now, Nze brings that same passion for connection to WSMN 1590AM / 95.3FM with her new radio show, The Bridge Builder. Whether speaking with local neighbors in theNashua/Merrimack Valley or international trailblazers, Nze explores how the stories we tell shape the places we call home, capturing the brilliance of our communities with grace and excitement.
